NAKED LENZ

A bar in a birch forest and “a luminous sword” which cuts through the landscape as the brilliant delusions that plagued an author caught in a web of sexuality, espionage, drugs and literature: NAKED LENZ combines Georg Büchner‘s fragment Lenz and David Cronenberg’s film adaptation of William S. Burroughs‘ monumental novel Naked Lunch in an explosion of lunatic machine gun-style dialogue that puts the theatricality of reality to the test. Or perhaps provokes it into being true? The stage is transformed into an “intermediary world” between reality and illusion – leaving the audience to define their own viewpoint.
